After the conclusion of the formal business several presentations were made: Dr Stanton Adair for his three years service as Chairman of RYA NI, Dr Curly Morris for his contribution as Chairman of the RYA NI Performance Committee, Chris Eames who was awarded RYA NI Young Sailor of the Year, Rory Flannigan Young Powerboater of the Year, and Jennifer Whitaker who won the U16 category of the Green Blue photography competition.

Guest Speaker Bill O'Hara gave a short talk on his experience as Race Officer for Volvo Ocean Race.

The new Executive are: Chairman Jay Colville EDYC, Vice Chairman John Taggart, Hon Sec Irene Aston RNIYC, Hon Treas John Gilmore SLYC also on the Executive are Performance Chairman Adrian Bell QYC, Training & Development Committee Chairman John Magowan QYC, and Ex Officio Maeve Bell QYC.
